WA How Many Years Should be Included for Property Settlement Value?

I am in the middle of property settlement and have a small building business with my ex that we are both directors of 50/50 that needs to be valued. We separated in March 2012.

How many years can I go back for value? He will only disclose 2011 till now. I was in a 25-year marriage with him since 1986.

Are you coming to a settlement privately or through the courts? If a court was determining the value of a business for these purposes there are a number of factors it would take account of as valuation methodologies very depending on the type of business being valued.
