As far as I can tell, based only on the Act you have discussed, you can travel any reasonable distance to visit a residence.

By that I mean crossing states would probably not be permitted.
I find it interesting that 6 d stated “for recreation within a 50km radius of the person’s principal place of residence”
This gives a set distance for beyond the home premises for recreational purposes.

As a limiting distance, maybe you could infer a 50km radius, but for purposes of visitation, I’d say any distance that is reasonable to travel to that allows for time to return to the home premises within the day.
Any other thoughts?

Seems to be silent on any distance restrictions regarding visiting another residence. None that I could see anyway.... So it would appear that you can travel any distance within the state (that doesn't involve an overnight-er in between I assume).... & except to designated areas .. namely, these areas >>>
  • Fraser Island / K’gari
  • Moreton Island / Moorgumpin
  • North Stradbroke Island / Minjerribah
