Does a father have any say in where his child can live under Family Law? My ex has recently made the decision to move interstate...I pay my child support and believe this would make it difficult to keep regular contact with my 3 year old son...

Any information would be helpful at this time..

Yes you do get a say. I would strongly suggest you firstly go to a mediation service like Relationships Australia. Your ex will attend a session and so will you and then you will do a mediation together. If this does not work then you will be given a certificate. At that stage if you still want to stop your ex from moving to another state, you will need to contact a family lawyer. See https://lawanswers.wufoo.com/forms/get-connected-with-the-right-lawyer-for-you/
to be connected to a local family lawyer.
