Simple question. I have somebody on facebook who is having great fun defaming me. I've supplied the evidence to facebook showing that the statements made are false, and facebook refuses to take action, claiming that it's between "myself" "and the reported party".
I have the problem that I can't take legal action against the accuser without knowing where/who to send legal documents to, and facebook refuses to provide any information without a "valid subpoena or court order"

I'm just after the legal steps I need to take to bring the party attacking me to court.

For defamation -

Step 1. Take copies of all posts you believe to be defamatory. Screenshots are best.

Step 2. Record all ways you have been affected, preferably, but limited to, monetary damage you have incurred.

Step 3. See a lawyer.

Step 4. Talk to your lawyer about options.
