I am working for a public sector company for over 11 years now out of which I was employed as Casual for 10 years.
For all of the 10 years of casual employment, I worked same hours as full time staff and I now feel that I deserve to be made a permanent employee since I am still working here on rolling contract basis.
What are my legal rights?

You get to ask your employer to be permanent, nothing more.

You likely have an entitled for back-pay for annual leave, but there's a risk the request may put your job in jeopardy - though the two events will not be related by the employer.

You should be receiving a 25% loading on your pay which will likely disappear if made permanent, though you will get paid leave.

Tread carefully.
