My wife has moved out because she is facing serious domestic violence charges against me. She is also the only breadwinner in the family at the moment and has refused to pay the mortgage from now on. So now, as I have no income and have to pay the mortgage, is it legal for me to sell anything in the house to raise the money I require without asking her or telling her?

My ex has sold numerous vehicles/motorbikes and trucks and farm equipment without my permission but he has had to provide details in discovery and it will form part of the financial settlement.

Thanks - that's interesting.

She will most likely be in jail in 2 weeks. I have no other way of keeping the home loan away from default.

What you are saying makes sense and sounds fair.
