I like to understand if, in a situation where a woman has purchased a home after the marriage but put it under both husband and wife names, covered the mortgage payments and all the other costs, and shouldered most of the living expenses, and she can provide evidence of this in court, would the house still be split in half and awarded to her husband in the event of a divorce? having said that the husband income is way lower than the wife. thank you

There is no formula. No rule that states that assets get split in half. So with the details provided that is the best answer I can give

Seems like a marital asset.

There are a lot of variables, but it will be on the balance sheet, how the court looks at it will depend on the variables is my understanding.
