VIC Creating title for sudivision of a lot

    Hello,

    I have an investment property as common in tenants and I am going to subdivide the land in 3 lots and build 3 new townhouses. I would need to create a title for each lot. Please let me know when I should create those title before starting construction or once construction is completed.

    You should be using your lawyer for questions like this.

    And it is not wise undertaking such a development without legal advice unless it doesn't matter to you financially and you can weather the losses that can be incurred when things go bad.

    Developments are not a sure fire way to make money. Many developers have gone broke for one reason or another.

    Could you please let me know if it is compulsory to subdivide the land if I am building 3 townhouses in the same lot. Is it possible to build 3 houses in the same lot and not subdivide the land.
