QLD Contesting a Will - Can Daughter Contest Estranged Parents Wills?

Can my wife contest her parents' wills when they die? She is estranged from them due to sexual abuse and mistreatment, but is worried she will be disinherited and wants to know about contesting a will. She feels she deserves some of their money after the way they treated her.

As a child of a deceased person your wife would technically have grounds to bring a family provision application to receive an inheritance if she is not awarded one in her parents will.
