Hi, have court approved consent orders that allow me time with my grandchildren both in person and via video.calls. I have tried multiple times to communicate with the mother about the children's birthdays etc but she just ignores my messages. Is this OK? Besides being rude, is there anything I can do?

Whether ignoring your messages is a breach depends on the exact wording of the orders. If they specifically require her to respond to communications about the children, ignoring them could be a contravention. If the orders only grant contact time without a communication obligation, it is rude but may not technically breach them. Go back and read the exact wording carefully. If there is a communication obligation, a letter from a solicitor is often enough to prompt compliance without going back to court. Worth getting advice from someone experienced in grandparents' rights to confirm your position.
