I had my solicitor send a concerns notice to someone that had defamed me to my business clients. I have just found out that the defendant has now sent my concerns notice to them, the very people that the defendant sent the original defamatory material, causing me further humiliation. The email containing the concerns notice to the defendant was “private and confidential”. Should there be repercussions for her actions or is this perfectly ok!

Let your lawyer deal with it.

The action by the other party is indicative of a lack of remorse, and can be part of your action for defamation.
