My insurer has given me an email stating I am not at fault. They are holding the other party at fault. (Mr. X " for example")

My insurer did have a conversation with Mr.X's car insurance company and said the same thing to them. But since I have only CTP, my car insurance company won't claim on my behalf. But when I called Mr. X's company, they said that I can't prove they are at fault.

What can I do now?

Why did your insurer have a 'conversation' with the other insurer?
It seems like their original intention was to claim on your behalf but then after finding out some things, dropped it?

Hi Denniboy,

It seems like a typical trick the insurance companies make. Motor vehicle claims begin with deny deny deny. They play this game and hope you simply go away. Get a motor claims specialist in Melbourne to give them a buzz and I am sure they'll change their tune.

With a claims specialist they'll take care of everything as you're the not at fault claim party.

Just remember it's simply their tactic. Get onto someone asap to give them a call. Zero out of pocket.
