I heard that the citizenship application process takes a long time now (more than 14 months), and by January next year it will be exactly 4 years since I got my PR and living in Australia. A friend of mine said that I can apply now and by the time my application will be assessed, it will be after January, so I can save that time instead of waiting to apply in January. Is that true?
