QLD Dodgy lawyer

I enlisted a law firm to get my divorce done about 18 months ago and deposited funds into their trust account, they have been slow to do anything and several months ago I requested my file and a refund and got reply saying I would have it back in 2 weeks. I have contacted them several times and still nothing.... what can I do?

What outstanding bill?? Money was paid into trust initially

Are you sure that you don't owe them any money at all?
If nothing is owing, then I agree with @CSFLW - contact the Law Society

They should be returning money and a couple of months ago said would return file within 2 weeks. Thankyou I will contact the law society
