Thanks Rod, I really appreciate your comments.

I assume you're saying this because if they thought the issue was serious they would have raised it by now. Is there more to it?

In our company there is an online system where anyone can raise a complaint anonymously. What I'm worried about is that someone can raise this issue maliciously. Is this still a risk in your view? I'd appreciate your thoughts on this and how I can respond to a possible complaint.

Many thanks.

No more to it.

If queried, say you need time to consider a response and you'll get back to them. Then you can post here with the general nature of the complaint before replying.

The more time that passes, then the greater the chance that any dismissal
(that's what we're really talking about here)
will look like an "Unfair Dismissal".

I hope that by now, you have taken Rod's advice, and joined your union.

You are forunate indeed that nothing has come of it so far.
I am a broad minded, tolerant, and thick skinned, employer.
But to even threaten violence against a colleague,
I would have had you out the door instantly.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for your reply, very much appreciated.

Unfortunately I'm not eligible for unfair dismissal complaint because of the pay threshold. Would the employer still be against dismissal for other reasons?

I haven't communicated here here the full nature of the breach in order to protect my privacy, but it's not as serious as you seem to think.

Many thanks.
