Hi guys, I got injured close to 2 years now. I returned to work 1 month after the injury on light duties for 4 months. My injury got worse and I stopped working again. I spoke to a lawyer and was sent for permanent impairment assessment. I filed for a lump sum claim in December 2022. The insurance and the company I work for sent me to 2 different IME in 1 week, after seeing my claim. I can tell they both are on the insurance side. The second IME said my injury is not related to work because I said I felt pain in my upper back when lifting elderly resident from the floor, but I'm having cervical disc bulge and has made my arm and thumb numb and he thinks it's unrelated. I have upset since. Can anyone advise me on this please?
