A friend and I leased a townhouse in both names while he looked to purchase a new house .Two months later when he found one he told me I could move out as soon as I found alternative accommodation and he would stay at our joint rental property and pay the full rent until a new tenant was found . When he did move out unbeknown to me he allowed the landlord to take the remaining rental out of the rent.

When making a new rental application the applications often ask if any bond was held on my last rental.

1.Can landlords find out if rental bond was held ,the reason why it was held and if so what can I do ?
2.Can land lords find out my entire rental history including rental payment history if I have not listed them all.
