Is there any law in Australia that can prosecute war criminals of other countries same as in Belgium?

This is the question, can australian law prosecute war criminals of other countries.
if someone commit a war crime, can he be prosecuted in australia?

Australian residents or citizens may be prosecuted under the War Crimes Act 1945 (Cth) for acts classified as 'serious crimes' in so far as they were committed in a war - insofar as it occurred in Europe in the period beginning on 1 September 1939 and ending on 8 May 1945.
