Hi,
We lease a floor of a building in Sydney and included in that lease are a number of parking spaces in a secure car park under the building. The spaces are clearly marked with our company name, however we frequently get people who park in our spaces 'illegally'.
The car park does require a security access card but these people tailgate others to get in. Building management do their best to try and help us by attempting to track down the company the offending person belongs to, but it's not always possible.
What are we legally allowed to do to prevent these repeat offenders from preventing us from using property we are paying for? We leave repeated notices on the windscreens of the offenders, which works for some, but some just ignore it and continue to park there. Can we tow / clamp / other strong measures under Traffic Law?
Cheers.
