QLD Summoned to Court for Bankruptcy Fines - Pay on the Spot?

I have not completed a Statement of Affairs for bankruptcy on time and now I am being fined. I have been summons to a court hearing.

Do you have to pay the fine on the spot or can I pay it off?

Hi Darren,

If you are in financial difficulty and cannot pay off the fine on the spot, you can negotiate for a suitable payment arrangement. Make sure you tell the court, or whomever is fining you beforehand, explain your financial situation, and enter into an arrangement in writing.
