I recently sold a car from South Australia to a person in Victoria sight unseen on the internet. The money was transferred into my account and buyer organised freight to Victoria at their cost. I transferred ownership to buyer as required legally. Vehicle was taken to have roadworthy performed and subsequently failed with rust. The purchaser now wants to return vehicle and wants a refund. Am I required to refund vehicle cost as I have transferred ownership to them.
