Hi,

I have received speeding fines in the mail today for an alleged speed of 54km/h in a 50km/h zone. $190 from a car camera in Victoria. I have had no speeding convictions within 2 years but received a fine for no seatbelt 8 years ago.

Will this automatically make me ineligible for having a warning if I write to them in which I fully admit fault? I also had a name change. Will civic compliance review my old name when investigating my driving history or base it off my new name?

Thank you.

You didn't answer any of my questions Mr lawyer. That is the reason I came to these forums to get answers to traffic law!
