My child is in a private school in Queensland. Recently, a contractor to the school has made a negative report about his behaviour to the school which has resulted in him being removed momentarily from the chess team.
I want to request a copy of this report and how the school have investigated its authenticity.
I have asked the principal and cited the Education (General Provisions) Act 2006 as I believe that somewhere in there is a 'freedom-of-information' or FOI kind of act. The principal of the school wants me to be more specific.
I have looked at the act but could not find the precise relevant section.
Could it be in a different act?
