In a courtroom, how do I present a precedent case verbally.
Lets say the case is Samson v Rogers (1999) and I want to use it as a precedent for an argument I am putting forward. What do I say?
Do you say, for example, "curbside parking signs are illegal in privately owned estates, as in Samson verse Rogers (1999)".
How do i go about this?
Thanks
