Hi,

I recently parked in a loading zone in Fairfield Melbourne, when I returned to my car the inspector was driving past with his hand out the window taking a picture of my car. I have checked the online pictures and all of them show that he is in the vehicle while taking the pics.
My question is, does the fact that he has broken the traffic laws while performing his job void my ticket?
I think he was using his phone to take the pic, but does a camera count as a portable device which should not be operated while driving?

Is it worth fighting?

Cheers

Almost certainly not.
Is it worth fighting?
No. Pay the fine, make it all be over, and go get on with your life.
