QLD Parenting Plan but How to Get Custody of Children?

My daughter wants to get sole legal custody of children for her two kids only so she can singe papers for school excursions etc. There is a parenting plan in place but the father wants nothing to do with them and has not contacted them for 6 months.

She tried the Application for Consent Orders but he could not be bothered filling out his part.

Is there any other avenue she can try??

Jot down all the good things she does for the children, eg, taking to parks, day trips, what she spends on clothes, school camps, school fees, etc.
maybe try take it back to court, and if other party dont show and note down every time he doesnt show up to see them, according to the parenting plan, maybe then the judge will re look at it and see your side.

She can apply for a parenting order from the court, but before doing that, she would need to attempt family dispute resolution.
