Hi there,

Hoping someone can point me in the direction of any judgement relating to property settlement where a party has intentionally hidden assets or dwindled the asset pool post separation with the intention of hiding it from the other party. Also looking for judgments which rule for the party to repay or recoup costs or when the mother is the full time carer of a baby and cannot financially support herself.

Thanks for your great support.

Hi There

My experience with this was very hard to prove.

My ex husband disposed of a lot of assets and because they were disposed of, they could not be valued. The value was set at whatever they had been sold for.

The court was only interested in very large items like cars and houses, and I was not able to recoup anything for any of my personal effects he simply threw out.

If it's a business you can try a forensic accountant.
