QLD Obtaining My Medical Records - Do I Need a Lawyer?

I am attempting to confirm who it was that provided false information to the hospital pertaining to the cause of my illness. Do I also require a lawyer to obtain my own medical records from a hospital?

No - you can do a right for information request...the forms can be downloaded from the net...just google them and you should find them no problem

Each hospital has a freedom of information department. On each website there should be a link for hospital information - fill it out and they will send it to you.
