What is my right in relation to receiving a refund of a deposit to purchase a NEW vehicle via credit card provided over the phone with sale Subject to finance approval.
No contract has been signed or ID has been provided. Request to refund deposit within 24hr of deposit.
Selected Vehicle was NOT in stock and was awaiting to be secured from manufacturer holding stock interstate.
Request has been asked from Dealer who verbally stated on the phone they were happy to entertain a refund and requested banking details yet now ask for evidence and proof of the finance rejection.
Am I entitled to a refund subject to the conditions stated on supplied documentation from dealer and must I provide written proof from finance company by law?
How should I proceed to receive a refund if the Dealer denies.
