I am a mortgage broker being paid a retainer and commission. If I resign is the commission that is due on the settlements that are pending paid to me after I resign. My contract states that trail will cease when I resign but nothing written about the commission side of things.
You need to carefully read your employment contract. Generally speaking commissions are paid for work already completed and are often paid post termination, but check your contract.
