Hi there

We recently purchased a vehicle from a private seller. The advertisement for the car stated that the entertainment system included ‘Apple Car Play’. We went to see the car inspected for the mechanical issues (my partner is a mechanic). We didn’t have our phones on us on the test drive but we enquired again that the car had the feature and the seller stated it did. We purchased the car and went back to collect it a few days after. When we got home the day after we discovered there is no ‘Apple Car Play’ feature as described. This is a key feature which we wanted and we are obviously very dissapojnted. Where do we stand? It is misleading advertising but we are always told ‘buyer beware’.

It turns out that some makes, not all that year had this technology included and the guy has obviously picked up the copy of advert from another model. We had previously inspected one which had it.

Would love your throughts on how we move forward? Can we get componstatikn? Etc
