When a person raises a dispute with an incorporated associations and seeks mediation with a CJC, is that mediation compulsory because mediation is with an incorporated association rather than with an individual?

Hi there,
I need more information. What is the dispute and what process have you gone through to now be seeking mediation?

A member of our bushwalking club is challenging a decision of the Committee so he is seeking mediation between himself and the Committee of the club. Under the club's constitution (the club is incorporated) the club has to observe mediation provided it is resolved with in 3 months from initial application. Initial application was 6 months ago and no committee members with to participate. Do they have to because the club is incorporated?
