Hi
I have been a member of a gym that has no contracted time to complete before cancellation is allowed, basically I signed up to a month to month membership with no lock in minimum time.
I emailed in March (26) about a suspension until opening again (due to lockdown). This was responded to and confirmed until April. In April (14) I started getting charged again.
I emailed in May (21) questioning to be still under suspension, email was not responded to.
I emailed in July (2) questioning a refund for the missed suspensions, email was not responded to.
I emailed in July three more times (twice on the 10, once on the 16), and have not received a response to any of them.
Currently I have had payments coming out since mid-April with no response to emails, what can I do about this?
It is through direct debit and the bank says they cannot cancel this, the gym company has to.
Thank you for any advice.
