NSW Family Law - Possible to Request Financial Background Searches on Husband?

Hi,

I would like to ask if I, as a spouse, can request financial background checks on my soon-to-be ex under Family Law? My lawyer was in the process of doing it before I abandoned the case to give my cheating husband another chance. I don't want to spend more money so I was hoping to do it myself. I believe he is hiding money and I don't want him getting away with it.
