I have a 13-year-old daughter and I want full guardianship of my sister. What can I do? Is there a legal process involved under Family Law?

There are not enough facts here. How old is your sister? Why do you want guardianship? Where are the parents?

We are the adopted parents, legally. My sister is 34 years old. I want her out because of her behaviour and my sister is happy to take her.

Still not enough information. Are you saying you adopted your 34-year-old sister and now you want her out of your house?

In the case of adults, you make an application to the Guardianship Board in your state and once they have the information they will have a Hearing where you present your case. I suggest you ring them and discuss the situation. Your other sister will need to state her willingness to look after your sister However you need to be very clear re the problem.
