I've received a traffic infringement notice to fail to give way to a vehicle in an intersection.
I was stopped at a red traffic light I started to drive when I got a green lights.
A bicycle suddenly appeared in front of me and I could not avoid it. She claimed to have cross the intersection with an orange light. I cannot prove it but a seriously doubt it considering the time between the lights to change and the speed she was driving.
We both got fined.
Is it possible to get fined for failing to give way when crossing a road with a green light?
Thanks
