A company has 3 company directors, all with company email addresses. Does an individual director have the right to read the emails, sent or received, of another director without permission?

Probably. The email addresses are company property and directors have quite wide powers when it comes to using company property for company purposes.

However if you have evidence the access was not for legitimate company purposes you may have an action against that person.

Hi Rod,

Thank you for your response and apologies for not replying before now. Makes me wonder whether director emails have to be made available to other directors if requested. I suppose it could depend on what is deemed company business and what is private. Thanks again for your help.
