SA Education when parents live interstate

parents live interstate. wanting to do 6 months with one parent, 6 months with the other, is this allowed?
Wanting to avoid court and just get along for the kids sake, thinking this is the best solution so the kids get the best of both worlds.

If there are no court orders then it's whatever you agree to do, but how's that going to work with schooling for a start

As a teacher, this is going to be educationally disastrous for your kids. It takes kids around six months to settle into a new school, and you want to pull them out every six months?
Friends? Sports? Activities?

Not to mention that schools have different curriculums, let’s alone in different states. Your kids would likely miss much schooling and suffer socially.

This is a really horrible idea. For the kids sake, do not do it.

not even mentioned the social ramifications of something like this on youre child. hows the relationship with the other parent?
