My dog was recently attacked by the neighbours dogs and had to be hospitalised. We were hit with a massive vet bill. I am wanting to seek financial compensation from the owner of the other dogs but my attempts to ask them politely have failed. Can I take them to court to recoup the money? I have a stack of evidence proving they are at fault so I am confident of a favourable outcome but I don't know who to lodge with or what forms to lodge.
