I have been travelling with a local tour operator for many years, with no issue. Recently, I was called into their office and presented with a letter which stated that they had received complaints about me from the last trip that I went on. I know that I did nothing wrong and have spoken to many of my fellow travellers, who all said that they will support me. However, the tour operator has threatened to ban me from travelling with them based off these complaints. They also refused to give me access to these letters/emails, so I have no idea how to defend myself without this information.
My main questions are, how can I gain access to this correspondence, and if there is a case for defamation against the tour company or the letter writers?
