VIC Cracked Chassis on Ute - Recourse Under Australian Consumer Law?

    I just bought a secondhand ute for 12k and I just found out a week later that the chassis is cracked and can't be registered. Can I do anything under Australian Consumer Law and get my money back?

    Did you purchase it unregistered? Did you purchase it from a dealer or privately?
