My partner had a car accident years ago; a person got into his car and started hitting him while he was driving. This caused my partner to crash into a shop. The people in the community held my partner til police got there but let the other person go as he is well known in the community.

No one told police anything about the other person and now the shops' insurance company is trying to take our house.

Hi Meljay,

what is your question exactly? And how are they trying to take your house? If you can prove that some other person jumped in the car and started hitting your husband you may be able to reduce his liability for the accident. Was he not insured when the incident occurred?
