Hi,
Just wondering about the legality of police taking pocession of my property whilst being transported to a police station.
The situation was that an office took my phone and my cigarettes from me and told me that I couldn't have them whilst in the back of a police car. I refused to go anywhere with them until my property was returned. I wasn't being arrested at the time, the purpose of the transport was to undergo an EBT after a PBT had been done.
Any advice and insight on this would be much appreciated
