SA Can I Apply to Get Drivers Licence Back?

Hi,

I lost my drivers licence 7 months ago from a fine. I am currently serving an 18-month suspension. I lost my licence due to having a child unrestrained in the car and was on a good behaviour bond.

My question is, can I apply to get my drivers licence back as I need it for work and I live in a rural country town?

My understanding is no you have an 18-month suspension... You can't just get your licence back because you need it for work and because you live in the country
