A buyer is arguing over fences that they say need replaced and I say they don't. They are as is when they signed contract of sale. They say they'll delay contract until fences replaced. Can they do this and can I withdraw property from sale. Contract date is today, Friday.

Hi Barbara,

Is this a sale of property? Has a provisional sales agreement been signed? Has a formal agreement been signed? If so, what does it say about the fence? If it doesn't mention the fence, is there a term that buyer accepts property as is? When did the seller first raise problem with the fence?

Is buyer willing to pay for the cost of replacing the fence?
