Not that well-known of a music festival but I enjoy the music. Basically I bought two tickets to go to this mini festival/concert. I understood that they had a 'no refund policy', but all of a sudden, a week or two before the event of it, they had completely changed the date, pushing it a month further.

I'm just wondering if I'm allowed to get a refund although they are saying no. It is an under 19's event and is on a school night, Thursday, 21st.

Check the ticket terms and conditions. They usually have one about changing the date. I'd suspect they have a decent reason behind it, those sorts of decisions aren't generally done on a whim.

Though having said that, changing a fundamental term of the contract means you can likely claim a refund under Australian Consumer Law.
