Afternoon all,

I recently hired a garment for an event from an online dress hire company. Invoice was issued via Paypal, which I subsequently paid. The event was cancelled and I requested a refund for my purchase, as the dress was never dispatched to me

The seller is refusing to issue a refund claiming that they 'do not offer refunds for cancellations within 2 weeks of bookings.' The seller has no terms and condition, hire agreement or policy on their website. The seller did not provide a rental contract or any hire conditions that were to be agreed to.

Could anyone provide a legislative reference that may stipulate whether I have grounds for a refund from a legal perspective like Australian Consumer Law?
