I have bought a 5 year old vehicle from car yard in Brisbane that has a 3 year used car warranty. Their warranty states that I must take the vehicle back to them for services and warranty work or the warranty is void. Is this correct?

Doesn't sound right to me... I live on the Sunshine Coast..

That's might well be correct.

The "normal" statutory warranty that you (often) get as part of the sale is one thing.
But more often, the so-called "extended warranty" is actually an insurance product.
These can indeed come with conditions attached, such as those you describe.
