I am a reseller which means I buy limited release shoes from Nike and sell them for more money.

I am looking at turning this into a business but was just wondering if there's anything legally stopping me doing it, there are massive Australian stores doing it like Waves Never Die | THE Australian Sneakers and Streetwear Store. and Best sneaker store in Australia so I assume it's fine but I just want to be sure. I'm not an authorised reseller and am not claiming to be one, or a representative of Nike.

I get all of my products directly from Nike so I do not have to worry about their authenticity.

From what I’ve seen, a lot of people do resell limited-edition shoes without any issues, as long as they’re not pretending to be official or authorized sellers. Some big stores do it too, and I haven’t heard of anyone running into legal trouble. I know it’s been a while since you posted, but this kind of thing seems to be pretty common now.

By the way, while I was looking into footwear options, I stumbled upon melissa shoes. They’ve got some really cool styles, and the fact that they use this unique, vegan material makes them stand out.

Why not ask them ? they may even allow you to use some materials if they think you are important. I cannot see how they could stop you unless you use their trademarks etc, but they could stop selling to you which would finish you off.
