Hi

How do i excercise my rights under ACL

Do i just say ACL stipulates that products last a reasonable amount of time and in my case 1.5 years is not reasonable for a $450 product?

I bought a samsung microwave from costco for $450 on may 2022
And it broke down

It doesnt heat at all , lights dont turn on like it usually does and and lcd text is different and not clear and sometimes there is a h98 error code

I also believe this is a major failure. Would this be correct. Also based on ACL what is a reason able time before failure?

Thanks

asked costco for warranty claim and they said to contact the brand
I asked if they could handle the warranty claim as in the past for eg in good guys thw retailer they handle the warranty repair
But they said costco was different
And they only provide refund if it can't be repaired by the brand
Are they telling me wrong things

In terms of the ACL, I do not know of any way in which Costco in particular is different to anyone else.
